Tram Scrolls, bus scrolls, tram banner and destination signs are all the same thing, they are just different words for the same product. Vintage reproductions of the old tram and bus scrolls that used to be on the font and sides of old trams and buses. We also sell some new bus scroll designs too! Based on more recent bus signs but mostly we sell copies of the old signs, tram blinds.
The tram scrolls are printed on premium quality 100% cotton canvas, then stretched over a timber frame. We use the highest quality inks, canvas and frames.
Customers can either browse our galleries of over 400 different designs from world cities such as London, New york & Paris OR more commonly design your own tram scroll. Tips on designing your own tram scroll
1. We recommend ideally around 14 – 16 lines, more than that gets too ‘busy’ and crowded.
2. Try not to make the lines of your tram scroll too long, maybe up to 3 words
3. Try to alternate long and short lines to keep the scroll looking interesting
4. Consider adding the word VIA into the tram scroll design once or twice again to break up the uniformity
